So just a little update on myself....I AM FINALLY WALKING and I have said SO LONG to my crutches...yay! But not ready for working out and running yet...how sad...I need to lose these lb's for my cruise that is happening in about ONE MONTH!! YAYYAYAYAYA haha

On Friday, me, Molly and Jenna are going to River Falls to visit LAURA for her 21st birthday!!! YAY! Were gonna go out for dinner, perhaps a little applebees perhaps some Chilis who knows:) Then were headin to the bars :o) So that should be fun! Anyway I better get back to work....actually more like getting back to my homework!

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Well....I loveeeeeeeeeee being home :0) Tuesday night I went to visit dear old brian then came home on Wednesday...well sorta, I got home later then headed to the bar to hang out with a few of my favorite P-towners minus my underaged girlies...heehee Well, the first part of the night was fine, we were at The Finish Line hanging out...then we headed to 'RJ's Too'....bad idea, it wasnt fun seeing just about every PHS Graduate over the age of 21 stumbling around.....owell.


Anyway...on a better note Thanksgiving was very nice, I spent it half here at home the half with Brians family, it was a fun longggg day...wish you were here bro + al :) Today (friday) was overall a great day!!! It started out getting up way too early to get to St. Cloud for my post Op appointment, apprently Im a little behind in the healing, however I walked/limped almost all day with no crutches!!! yay me! Then brian and I headed to maple grove for some....shoppppinggg....lets just say, I found something very special, maybe I can talk more about that in the future...guess you will all have to wait and see!!! Did I mention we ate at Chipotle.....YUM, I havent been there in FOREVER! Well the night ended with hanging out with my girlies and watchin a movie with my mom......what a perfect day ( minus the appt.) So I will leave with a Happy Thanksgiving to you all, and.....2.5 WEEKS OF SCHOOL LEFT!!! WOOHOO!!!

Im gettin there!

today was somewhat of an improvement, but it really started yesterday. I went to all my classes and all of my work! However, last night my whole leg was incredibly sore from being up all day. It feels like one huge charlie horse, which that pain basically overpowers my knee pain...which is good in an odd odd way. Today is finally friday, I had PT today, but it didnt go as well as I had hoped. I was planning on getting my stitches out so I could shower finally (its been a week of sponge baths and molly and mom washing my hair in the sink) but I guess they arnt fully healed yet, so I need to wait til monday...ugh......BUT i showered anyway with a plastic bag taped around my knee..heeeheee......anyway back to PT, I was supposed to flex my muscles in my leg and do these exercises, but I just couldnt as hard as I tried...so I got hooked up to this machine that forced them to contract, it was neat to watch my muscles contract and relax without me doing anything, but hurt like hell...then I actually took baby steps still using my crutches but putting some weight on my leg!! However, I still cant completly straighten it.....so I wont be able to completly try to walk until that happens along with my muscles work...so it may be a while still....but im workin on it :o)


Anyway, its the weekend and I have some studying to do to make up a test I missed and just being a bum...


I better get off my computer, molly is having an "entertain jessie" party haha...cause i cant really do much, they are all gonna drink and enterain me i guess hahahah.....

Crutches + laying in bed for days + not using leg for days + having someone cut out ur cartilage in your knee + tripping =

= Bruises on arms, sore back with a ton of knots, sore muscles, constant charlie horses all night long, 100 lbs pushing on ur knee everytime u move, and stress on that knee



Pretty sure this describes me right now. I cant wait to be able to move normally....may I suggest no one ever get crutches. they pretty much suck.

Surgery sucks.

Ok, so its been 3 days since surgery.....and I thought since i cant really do much right now, I would give you all an update.

The surgery went well over all, i guess I have this rare thing where i have a lot of extra cartilage in my knee, which turned out to help me with tthe recovery process. The cartilage I tore, they just cut out along with all the extra stuff so I dont have internal stitches to heal....yay...but, im in a lot of pain with how much the did inside my knee. I cant walk or straighten my leg.


Today I got all my bandages taken off so now its just my knee, kinda scary but its an improvment! My physical therapist tried straighetning my knee which hurt like hell, and I have more of that to look forward to on wed. Also, becase i got really sick this weekend from my pain killers, I got new stuff today and it seems to work alright so far. So we will just wait and see with that I guess


I had one class I "had" to go to today according to that prof (ASSHOLE), so I got up got as ready as i could, and left plenty early to walk across campus on my crutches. Well, i finally got to that building and because it was wet outside, my crutches were slippery....so what do you know, I fell. That hurt veryyyyyyyyyyy bad, i didnt fall on my butt, but I cought myself with my bad leg, so i stepped on that knee...NOT GOOD. So after that i finally get up to class and my prof CANCELED CLASS......what an ASS, did he bother to email any of us? NO! Did he make me go to class YES.....


Hopefully tomorrow i will be a bit better.....I just want to walk SOOOON. Crutches are cramping my style..ha....ok, im gonna go take some more drugs...peace out all..

overall this weekend went pretty well, partied it up down here in W-town friday night, went to LAX on sat. with good ol jenna:) Sunday was full of homework and Top 100 80's songs:) yes, molly and i watched that for 3 hours! haha



Wed. im heading home for my surgery! Wish me luck..however this is a simple procedure so i should be fine, what im worried about is me being my clusty self and not doing so well on crutches for three weeks...haha....alrighty..Peace out G!

Ok, Pretty sure I HATE profs that think there class is a students life. When a professor thinks that HIS way of teaching and learning is the ONLY way........So I have this prof, whos average grade on his tests are 59%....Now, If I remember correctly isnt AVERAGE supposed to be 75%???? So heres my story on that......

We were able to take our test online, so my partner and I got together to take it. All of the notes I took in class I set out in front of us, along with the book with a ton of tabs showing the info we needed to know. Well, did we use our notes once? NO, not one thing in our notes even partially helped us on the test. So after taking the test, we both got 65% (which ended up being the 2nd highest in the class :o) heehee...ANYWAY, in class he asked how the test went, and everyone had something to say, and our prof basically said no one studied in large groups quizzing eachother on 10 damn chapters! Who the hell has time for that, NOT ME. He said that these are good grades, and when we take our GRE (test needed for graduation in our program) it is supposed to be like this, but some kid in our class took it and spoke up saying it was nothing like that! Plus, those who said something to him about his test, are BASICALLY on his bad side now. And going to class is basically pointless since he doesnt teach what are on his tests.....except he takes damn attendance!

So the moral of the story is....Professors are always right, and you have no life besides that damn profs class.....
